I’m Christine and I am a visual artist based in Bethersden, Kent, England. I have a home studio which is open for viewing several times a year and upon request. I predominantly work in coloured pencils, oil and clay but by no means exclusively. I describe myself as eclectic, hectic, peptic and occasionally septic (welcome to the dark side!). Though people and pet portraits are a passion I also work with many and varied subjectivities. I hope you enjoy looking at what I do and you can find out more about me and my work on my About page; and, what I’m up to now on my Blog page.

This year I am taking a break from my normal artistic activities and am studying for a MA in the History and Philosophy of Art. This exciting challenge includes 3 months in Paris immersing myself in Modernism and Gothic Studies for the spring term. You can find out more on my Focus On page. Here you will find some of the images from a Drawing module that was in Term 1.
